It is impossible to imagine Lisbon without the Tagus and the river opens a new leisure dimension for the city. To enjoy the Tagus in its fullness we invite you to a sailing tour of 2 or 4 hours, depending on the amount of time you have available.

For the 2 hours program, we suggest starting off at Doca de Alcantara and going towards the Expo area, passing right in front of Lisbon’s main square of Terreiro do Paço and generally enjoying city views all the way to the Ponte Vasco da Gama.

For the 4 hours program, you have two alternatives; either repeat the same as the above and return to Seixal bay, passing Alfeite (the Portuguese navy dock) and Almada along the way. At the attractive Seixal bay, you can enjoy the views and stop for lunch at one of the charming local riverside restaurants.

The other alternative is to sail towards Montijo and Ilha do Rato, the ideal location for a barbecue or a picnic.

Either of these river tours allows you to enjoy different perspectives and views of Lisbon. In both programs are also seen the Ponte 25 de Abril (bridge), the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Monastery), the Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument of Discoveries) and the Torre de Belém (Tower).

These programmes are ideal for a special occasion, birthday celebration, a group of friends get-together or a corporate event.
